About Goodword

Built for the relationships you keep meaning to tend.

Founded in Seattle in 2025, we are a small team with a focused belief: the biggest gap in professional networking is memory and timing, not introductions.

Why we built this

Professional relationships are the most underutilized asset in most careers. Not because people do not care about them, but because the tools available to maintain them are either too manual or too transactional.

CRMs are built for pipelines, not people. LinkedIn is a broadcasting platform, not a memory system. Your email client keeps a history, but it does not tell you when to act or who matters most right now. The result is that relationships drift, not because of indifference, but because the logistics of remembering overwhelm the intention to connect.

Goodword exists to solve the memory and timing problem. It captures what you know about the people in your life, tells you who to reach before the moment passes, and shows you the shortest warm path to anyone you want to meet. The idea is simple: the relationships you have already built should be enough to get you most of where you want to go. You just need a system that helps you use them.

We focus on professionals who rely on relationships as part of their work: founders raising capital and building partnerships, recruiters finding and nurturing passive candidates, business development teams closing through networks rather than cold lists. These are the people who feel the cost of relationship drift most acutely, and who gain the most from getting it right.
